Stacey Lucterhand is a certified teacher with eleven years of classroom and tutoring experience. While working towards a Master's degree in Education at the University of Southern California, she trained to teach and tutor ACT/ SAT Prep with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions and Beverly Hills Tutoring. While studying Psychology and English at the University of Michigan, Stacey spent time abroad in London and Hong Kong. She has taught English grades 6-12, AP Psychology, Yearbook, and worked as a College Counselor and AVID Curriculum Coach.
Stacey has worked with all types of students, each with their own academic strengths, interests, and challenges. She has developed an abundance of tools and strategies for helping students achieve their goals and live their dreams. She tutors mostly middle school and high school students. Her specialties are Executive Function coaching, ACT/ SAT test prep, college essay coaching, and critical reading and analysis tutoring. With a unique background in Educational Psychology, Stacey provides support and guidance in areas that foster academic success.
Outside of teaching, Stacey lives for her family, yoga, and adventure. A native of Chicago and a mother to a 3-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son, Stacey looks forward to helping your family meet all of its educational ambitions.
